i-neda produce innovative, regulated and scalable software for the gambling industry. We are looking for a skilled back-end developer to join our small team of Golang engineers.

Working behind the scenes, the ideal candidate will have a combination of technical expertise and an analytical mindset. This person should be comfortable working independently as well as with a small team in the design and development of mission-critical back-end services.

Responsibilities

• Write code and tests, build prototypes, resolve issues and profile and analyse bottlenecks.
• Understand and implement complex mathematical rules for the calculation of game outcomes.
• Develop robust and scalable integrations to a wide variety of different third party APIs.
• Develop robust APIs to support internal and third party clients.
• Create automated tests to ensure business needs are met, and to allow for regression testing.
• Optimise existing services to improve their scalability.
• Participate in code reviews and daily standups.

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science.
• Professional golang experience.
• Good analytical and maths skills.
• Experience integrating to SOAP or REST web services.
• Experience with MySQL and Redis database systems.
• Experience in gambling, financial or other regulated industry would be advantageous.
